On August sixth I bought a thirteen year old Theroughbred mare named Jim's Jaunty. Her barn name is Hannah. Hannah raced in Virginia for a year or so, before being trained for Dressage. Hannah has jumped and was very good at it, but unfortunatlly she has Upright Stifles so that career was cut short. Today Hannah shows in Dressage with me. For anybody who cares Hannah was sired by Rise Jim out of Set A Cap by Thinking Cap. I work at ahorse farm who buys less fortunate horses. We refer to these horses as our "rescue horses."Markey, one of our rescue horses was nearly starved to death. Holly, another rescue horse was put out in a field to fend for herself, she was just like a wild horse with a halter. Shania, yet ANOTHER rescue horse was beaten which caused her to have a bad attitude and hate evry human, when we got her she was an gry at the world. Edward was a race horse and when he shattered his knee he was put on the lion truck to be fed to the lions at Great Adventure. Edwards sire was Mr. Prospect and grandsire was Bold Ruler. these are just a few of the many horses that we have saved. And the horses that we have saved are just few of the many horses that need YOUR help!!!!!!!!

• St. Louis, Missouri - Hey everyone. I need some advice. I just recently bought a new horse. He's a 17hh Tb at age 7. Before I bought him, he was basically just used for jumping purposes. They never really worked him on the flat. Now he's completely jumped out, has lost all interest in it at all, and he knows absolutely nothing about flat work! He's very weak in his hindquarters, which I'm desperately working to strength them. Surprisingly, he does know his leads well, but he cannot bend or shorten/lengthen his strides. And as all of y'all should know, these elements are very important in showjumping. So I need suggestions on how to educate him on all this early training he should of gotten and how to get that spark of energy back into him when he takes a jump. I'm becoming desperate! Please help! Any comments or suggestions are appreciated greatly. And also, I need some assistance from a computer hacker (not horse hacking). • California - I have a way to keep your horse without paying board! Is your horse too expensive? Do you pay board everymonth knowing you cant afford it? Heres an idea, many upscale riding schoolsare in need of good lesson horses. I lease my horse to the riding program at my barn I get free board and my horse gets exercised by children in a supervised environment. I handle the vet and shoing costs and arrangements. I ride three times a week. I believe there is wonderful benefit to horses being around children my horse has never been so calm and happy. And I have no board to pay!!
